		That bright spot you see in the night sky during the month of July may look like a star, but it isn't! In July, the planets Venus and Jupiter are visible from earth. Try looking just above the horizon about 30 to 45 minutes after sunset. For Venus, look west-northwest. For Jupiter, look east-southeast. Try looking for other constellations, too! The big dipper and Orion are ones that are easy to spot.

The Next Food Network Star
On the July 6th episode of The Next Food Network Star, five Brownie Girl Scouts from the Girl Scout Council of Greater New York teamed up with the remaining finalists to create a healthy and tasty meal that they demonstrated on the Rachael Ray Show.

The Cheetah Girls
Disney Channel's newest movie, The Cheetah Girls: One World recently finished shooting in Mumbai, India with a special visit from Girl Scouts of the USA!

On the Red Carpet
Rebecca was lucky enough to have a chance to be a reporter on the red carpet for the premiere of the Kit Kittredge: An American Girl movie. She interviewed Abigail Breslin and other celebs from the film.
