I like Because of Winn-Dixie because it teaches a lesson and because it's a sad story.

The Missing series by Meg Cabot. It's a really good series. It's a mystery but a drama and love story at the same time. It's a great book. I just couldn't put it down.
Adele, 8, New Mexico
I would recommend the Katie Kazoo Switcheroo books to girls my age, because Katie Kazoo books are fun. There is a wind called the magic wind that only comes to Katie when she is alone. The wind turns into a tornado just around Katie and turns her into someone else. It all started when Katie was having a horrible day.
Taylor, 8, California
I would recommend that girls my age read Girls Rule by Ashley Rice. It gives girls a way to take care of themselves and tells why girls are wonderful and important.
Chioma, 12, Illinois
I like The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants. And I think a girl my age should read it, too. The book is interesting and so exciting! Enjoy!

I would recommend the book The Little Train That Could to girls my age. I think that would be a good book because it helps girls/boys learn about themselves and about the abilities they have and the things they can do.
Ayana, 10, Georgia
I would recommend Chicken Soup for the Girl's Soul because first of all, it is a great book from a great series, and it helps you with a lot of problems, like problems with friends, life, and growing up. It helped me a lot.
McKenzie, 9, Kentucky
I would recommend A Wrinkle In Time. Why? Because I like how the setting is a five dimensional world. They travel through the world and discover IT.
Autumn, 6, New York
I love the Junie B. Jones books. Now that I am in first grade, I like the Junie B. First Grader books. My mom also reads the Narnia books to me.
You, too, can share your thoughts about books: What book would you recommend to a girl your age? Why?
